Weathered Steel

Weathered Steel is an organization dedicated to developing Rust software, with a focus on embedded devices, bare-metal, and low-level programming.

All software developed by the organization is contributed to the commons under FLOSS licenses, unless developed under contract requiring otherwise.

Contracting parties are encouraged to release the work under FLOSS licenses, as this:

• eliminates vendor lock-in (you don't depend on Weathered Steel)
• increases maintainability
• contributes back to a community responsible for much of the software that runs the world
